Description

The exact determination of the water content of biomass with a suitable wood chip moisture meter guarantees fair billing for producers, dealers and end consumers. Since the water content of wood chips determines their calorific value, quick and easy measurement is essential. This quality control avoids problems in the plant and fixes the price for the wood chips without water.

The measuring device is used successfully by providers and operators of biomass heating systems to measure wood chips and chips.

With the humimeter BLL Moisture meter, the water content of wood chips can be determined effortlessly and in a matter of seconds. The measured values are saved immediately and optionally printed out on an external printer or transferred to a PC. The lance is permanently mounted on the device, so that easy handling is guaranteed.

The following requirements are met:

• Measuring device based on the requirements of the VDI standard 4206 sheet 4
• Material characteristics in accordance with EN ISO 16559 requirements
• Measuring device adjusted after calibration to the reference method EN ISO 18134-2
