Only an exact determination of the water content of biomass, with a suitable professional moisture meter, enables fair billing for producers, dealers and end consumers. The water content of biomass is crucial for its calorific value, so quality control during production and delivery is very important. System problems can be avoided with a humimeter BMA biomass moisture meter and water is not purchased at a high price.

With the humimeter BMA-2 Wood chip moisture meter, water content determination of wood chips, pellets, miscanthus, elephant grass, Chinese reed, wood shavings, sawdust and corn cobs can be carried out effortlessly and in a matter of seconds. The humimeter BMA-2 Wood chip moisture meter has an optional display of bulk density, calorific value and ATRO tonne/m³ and is perfect for suppliers and operators of biomass heating systems.
The measured values are recorded on the humimeter BMA-2 Wood chip moisture meter, saved and output via integrated printer or transferred to a PC. With the integrated online function, saved data can be transferred to other programs. This automated measurement saves a lot of time and reduces the resulting energy costs to 4% compared to a conventional measurement in the kiln.
