Description

The humimeter BP1 is a powerful wood pellets moisture tester for determining the water content of all standard wood pellets and special pellets. We are developers and manufacturers of these industrial pellet moisture meters.

Areas of Application:
The device is perfect for quality control in the manufacture, temporary storage or incoming inspection of wood pellets or special pellets (thistle, straw, rapeseed, miscanthus).

The measured values can be recorded via the integrated data logger of the humimeter BP1. You can also save them, add additional data and retrieve them later. You also have the option of using a hold function, which allows measured pellet moisture values to be frozen on the display until the next button press.

In order to increase measurement accuracy and reproducibility, the measurement is carried out with hectoliter compensation. This is achieved by accurately weighing the sample amount. A scale and a measuring cup are included for this purpose. Bulk density does not affect the measuring result. The entire device series was calibrated and checked using the calibratable drying method CEN/TS14961:2005.

At the same time, the sample temperature is measured, displayed and included in the pellet moisture calculation. The temperature range is from 0°C to 40°C and can be displayed in either °C or °F. The calibrated measuring range extends from 3% to 20% water content (depending on the type).

Another optimal feature of the humimeter BP1 is the optionally available USB interface. This interface can be used to connect to a PC. Using the LogMemorizer software supplied, the values can be read from the device, edited, provided with additional information, archived, exported and further processed. Using this interface, the water content, sample temperature, additional information and special device data of the humimeter BP1 pellets moisture meter can be output at the push of a button and further processed by another PC program.

As an additional option, we offer a portable and handy thermal printer. With the help of this printer, stored data can be printed out on site without a PC. These printouts can be given to the supplier as receipts.
