Description

The humimeter FSx is a high-performance whole grain moisture meter for determining the water content of grains and specialty crops. Additionally, customer-specific products can also be calibrated by the customer themselves.

A professional moisture meter for agriculture, trade, seed breeding, research, laboratory, food and feed industry – and also ideal for field use.

The humimeter FSx is ideally suited for corn, rye, triticale, wheat, durum wheat, hulled spelt, spelt and emmer in the husk, barley, oats, rapeseed, pumpkin seeds, field peas, soybeans, runner beans, broad beans, sunflower seeds, hulled and unhulled green coffee, ground and whole roasted coffee, hulled, unhulled and brown rice, poppy seeds, sorghum, millet, hulled and unhulled buckwheat, alfalfa seeds, hemp seeds, camelina, legumes, beans, vetches, lupins, lentils, caraway, milk thistle, mustard seeds, and amaranth. Other varieties are available upon request.

The measured values can be saved via the integrated data logger on the device, supplemented with additional data, and retrieved later. You also have the option of using a "Hold" function, which freezes the measured values on the display until the next button press.

To increase measurement accuracy and reproducibility, the device uses hectoliter compensation by accurately weighing the sample. A scale and measuring cup are supplied, ensuring bulk density does not influence results. The entire humimeter grain moisture meter series has been calibrated and tested using the EN-ISO 712 drying method.

The device also measures sample temperature, displays it, and includes it in the moisture calculation. The temperature range is from 0 °C to 40 °C and can be displayed in °C or °F.

The calibrated measuring range of the humimeter FSx is from 0% to 50% water content (depending on the variety).

The moisture meter includes an integrated USB interface for PC connection. The included “LogMemorizer” software allows data to be read, edited, stored, exported, and processed.

Via the interface, the following values can be output and processed:

• Special device data

An optional portable thermal printer is available, allowing stored data to be printed on-site without a PC. These printouts can also be used as receipts for suppliers.

The humimeter FSx grain and special crop moisture meter has a reference characteristic curve and offers calibration capability.

The device is adjusted after calibration to the following reference methods:

• EN ISO 6540 for corn

• EN ISO 665 for oilseeds

• EN ISO 712 for grain

• EN ISO 24557 for legumes and beans
